Bruxism is accidental abrasion or clenching of teeth which is connected to dynamic lateral movement of the jaws

Most common cause is anger, tension, stress or frustration, sleep disorders, missing teeth or teeth that are crooked, accident. Usually detected during the night

Do not make your teeth “receiver” of your stress!

Indications :

1. Stop the abrasion of teeth
2. Improved breathing
3. Relief from pain in the neck and shoulders
4. Reduction of headaches
5. Reduction of discomfort during sleep
6. Reduce stress on the jaw joints
7. Protection of natural teeth and dental work from injuries caused by teeth grinding
8. Reduce chipping, fractures, and excessive tooth abrasion
9. Probably reduction of snoring

Common symptoms :

1. Pain, tension or severe tightness of the jaws, after waking
2. Headache or earache, especially after waking
3. Tooth sensitivity to hot, cold, pressure, sweets
4. Your partner complains that you make noise during sleep
5. When you open or close your mouth, you sound intense clicking
6. There is in your mouth tooth abrasion, broken teeth, teeth with cracks
7. Persons who clench or grind their teeth during the night, usually they love to bite pencils with their teeth to chew the inside of the cheek or eat their nails

• Obtain patient history
• Clinical oral examination
• Taking oral impressions with impression tray andimpression material

2nd

2nd visit :

• Final application (the patient needs to wear the nightguard daily during sleep)

3nd

3rd visit:

• Re-examination after 7-15 days
